Sažetak
A Six Sigma improvement project selection is, for sure, a major factor in successful Six Sigma implementation within the organization. In many cases, project selection is a factor that will decide if the project will be success or failure. Properly selected project will led to significant bottom line results, improved business processes and motivated project team and others involved. In any organization there can be identified tenth if not hundred possible improvements area, but the task of those entitled to select project is to select few right one that will target the key business processes and be aliened with organization strategic goals. Furthermore, project selection should take into account customer satisfaction, business goals and optimistic but manageable and measurable project goals. The paper deals with Six Sigma project selection process explaining the main and common steps in project selection. Furthermore, the two main project selection approaches are dealt with, the top-down and the bottom-up approach.
