Sažetak
Numerical analysis of cold rolling process of thin plates by finite element method numerical procedure as a plane strain problem is solved. Large strain elastoplastic updated Lagrangian Hencky formulation was used, and in that way material and geometrical non-linearities are included in analysis. Mixed formulation of finite element method based of "displacement-pressure" variables for the description of the material incompressibility is used. Friction on the contact surface between rolls and plate is simulated with friction layer technique. Above mentioned formulation and technique were incorporated into the development of computer program named ROLLING. Efficiency of used formulation is validated by analysis carried out with mentioned software and by comparison with known experimental investigationy. Additional verification is provided by comparison with other results available in the literature.
