Sažetak
The focus of the paper will be on the degree of Croatian students’ approval and acceptance of certain democratic values and attitudes with respect to the rest of youth. These findings are based on a research which was part of a scientific-research project Youth and European Integration Processes conducted in 2004 by the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.Socio- demographic attributes of students, their attitudes towards institutional protection and promotion of human rights in Croatia, their support of democratic attitudes and values as well as political and social engagement, social distance towards certain social groups will be presented in regard to other young respondents’ attitudes and values on these issues.
