Sažetak
An automated oscillator phase noise measuring system is described. The main part of the system is a phase discriminator which utilizes a transmission-line resonator. The resonator is tuned with a pair of the reflection-type electronic phase shifters. This type of tuning allows both, wide radio frequency coverage and simplicity of the control circuits. System is controlled by microcontroller and connected to the PC via the HP-IB (IEEE 488) interface bus.
