Introduction: Although obesity is considered as a risk factor in acute pancreatitis, the relationship between obesity and complications in this disease has not been yet definitively confirmed. Objectives: To establish wheter body mass index (BMI), waist and hip circumference correlate with severity of acute pancreatitis.
