Sažetak
Our goal was to present the diagnosis, clinical features and treatment of 118 patients with renovascular hypertension treated in our hospital. In diagnostic procedures we included: renal angiography with separate renal vein renin concentration measurment. Percutaneus transluminal renal angioplasty was performed in 39 patients, with renal artery stent implantation in 10 patients. Renal autotransplantation was performed in 15 patients and nephrectomy in one patient. Other patients were treated with medications. Blood pressure normalization or better hypertension control after PTRA and renal artery stent implantation was noted in 40 patients. In 9 patients, PTRA had no success. Sixteen patients were treated surgically with a good therapeutic effect.
