Sažetak
Although there are optimistic expectations about achieving self-sustaining fusion reaction with tokamak type of fusion device authors warn that even then technical problems in construction of fusion power plant could be very serious. Some of these that will need much future work are the first wall and the superconductive magnets. Materials able to withstand sufficiently long time extremely high flux of 14 MeV neutrons have to be developed. As for the magnets present experience is not sufficient for extrapolation to the magnets two orders of magnitude larger.
