Sažetak
The paper describes problems that are encountered dealing with complex, distributed systems. It also describes implementation of agent technology in monitoring and control of complex, distributed systems. Disagreements in formal definition of agents are also stated in short. At the end the system that we are developing for video surveillance and control of heat and moisture in greenhouse is discussed. Special attention is given to the problem of agents' organization and communication between them.
