Sažetak
Problem of oill spills detection is involvement of dark colors. Dark colors are close to 0 and cannot be detected in by image differencing. The paper presents an idea to overcome detection problem for oil spills. By using DWT, the idea is to remove parts of the signal, which represents main structures such as costal lines and decrease noise. Wavelet analysis in real time, for oill spills, has been applied on inverted image.
