Sažetak
This paper presents hail characteristics for two separate periods in the western part of protected area, which is settled along border between Croatia and Slovenia. The purpose of this work is to establish if hail characteristics on that border area have changed, taking into account above mentioned reasons. This results of this paper can be used for hail suppression improvement. It can be said that in second period is increased average diameter, especially in range from 15-30 mm. Also, there there is an increasing number of areas in which we have larger ratio of hail with heavy damage on the ground, compared with first period.
