Sažetak
This paper gives an overview of the measuring of a human body using the cloud of points obtained after digitalisation of the body by means of 3D body scanner. The emphasis is on the scanning and measuring of disabled persons, unable to move independently. It goes primarily for the persons using a wheelchair, who are unable to take standing position for body scanning, and thus the scanning has to be done in sitting position. This requires different approach to scanning and measuring. The state of the art sophisticated equipment for body scanning and measurement is not designed for scanning in sitting position, so it is necessary to find the way for proper body scanning in the position different from the usual.
