Sažetak
The task was to approve the producer’ s loading capacity data (axial + radial loading) of the glass carrier structure (spider fittings + spherical joint attachments.Often the experiment cannot be performed for all loading cases, therefore the numerical model was used instead of complex and more expensive test. It was shown how the numerical model data can be used as reliable when evaluating the structure, but this data must be approved with the experiment.
