Sažetak
Here, we present results of mapping of vascular flora in Telašćica Nature park that took place during the years 2007 and 2008. In comparison with previous list, at present flora of Park is richer for 193 taxa, making it all together 532 taxa of vascular flora. Frequency of different life forms has confirmed that Telašćica is situated in the Mediterranean area with largest portion of therophytes (41%) and smallest of cryptophytes and chamaephytes (11% and 8% respectively). According to their status in the Red List, one critically endangered (CR) taxa is present i.e. Calystegia soldanella (L.) R.Br., three endangered (EN) and six vulnerable (VU) taxa are present. Out of seven taxa with data deficiency (DD) Melica transsilvanica Schur i Parapholis filiformis (Roth) C.E.Hubb should be emphasized because of their rarity in whole Croatia, at least based on available data. Seven invasive alien species were recorded in the Park with low frequency, all with American origin with just one exemption i.e. Carpobrotus edulis (L.) N.E.Br. in Phillips, that has African origin. Here, therophytes prevails as well, that corresponds to climatic conditions, and to therophyte portion in alien invasive flora for the whole Croatia. To preserve observed high plant diversity in the Park, management practice that will maintain diversity of habitats, particularly grasslands, is necessary.
