Sažetak
In our discussion about problems caused by flying, we will dwell on those concerning the passengers in commercial air-navigation. In all modern air-planes, even in tehe supersonic, the pressure in the passenger cabin corresponds to the air-pressure in the altitude of 5000 - 8000 feet on wich altitude the pressure in body cavities of the passengers tends to expand for about 25%. Periodical loss of the cabin pressure and the fact that some air -planes have not a pressure in the cabin at all, can cause a quick change of the gas-pressure in human cavities together with corresponding consequences which imperil human life. Besides the cabin pressure which corresponds to the one on 7500 feet has as a consequence a partial oxygen pressure (PaO2) of 70 mm Hg approximately - the healthy people can easily pass trough it, wich can not be said for a certain group of sick people. As for the sensible people, turbulence and whirlwind induce a moving-disease followed by nausea, vomit, etc. and sometimes even the physical injures, especially to the handicapped.
