Sažetak
The idea of “ climate change” has become widely synonymous with that of “ global warming” . This is paradoxically, construed in a very negative way as inevitably catastrophic, even in “ cold” countries like Canada and Finland. There is much confusion about this subject. Climate change is not necessarily bad. The climate has always varied to some degree, and changes have occurred over decades and millennia. Humans and other creatures have adopted to the changes or perished. It is part of evolution. Climate changes may have some aspects that could be regarded as bad. In some areas, climates improve. There are winners and losers. It is possible to adopt to such changes, at least if they occur slowly enough.
