Sažetak
The knowledge on the west Balkan freshwater gobies in the Adriatic drainage is still poor and insufficient for their adequate and effective conservation. New data about geographical and ecological distribution of freshwater gobies in the Adriatic drainage of the West Balkans are provided. A considerable extension of the known range in this area is demonstrated for Knipowitschia caucasica, Padogobius bonelli and Pomatoschistus canestrinii. Knipowitschia radovici and Knipowitschia croatica are for the first time reported from the River Neretva drainage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The finding of K. radovici is so far the second known record of this species. Pomatoschistus montenegrensis is reported from Albania for the first time.
