Sažetak
In this review the highlights of the sypmosia covering immunobiology and immunopathology of early pregnancy at the Third Meeting of Alps Adria Society for Immunology of Reproduction are summarized. A particular attention is centered to the discussion of pathophysiological mechanisms of the deficiency of cytotoxic effector pathways in the light of recent results with perforin and Fas ligand deficient mice. The main contributions from fields of immunobiology of early pregnancy, immunogenetics of reproduction and immunological aspects of infertility are emphasized.
