Sažetak
Internet creates new advantages and threats for all participants in the market, both at developed and in transitional economies. Potential positive economic effects of Internet usage in supply chains between companies will be more significant than in relation to customers because it brings higher savings and much higher ratios between given results and invested funds. In this paper, modalities of supply oriented e-commerce will be discussed and three study cases of Croatian companies will be given in order to explain how e-procurement is used to improve efficiency in supply chains.
