Sažetak
Radioiodine ablation of the remaining thyroid tissue after near total thyreodectomy is widely applied in continuation of treatment in patients suffering from papillary thyroid cancer. Lover dose of iodine-131 of 1850 MBq (50 mCi) was used for post-operative ablation in the thyroid remnants in 48 patients with papillary thyroid cancer.
