Sažetak
The book Croatia and the EU: Costs and Benefits of Integration is a concise overview, in Croatian and in English, of a larger research project under the title The expected impact of associated membership in the European Union on Croatias economy: a cost-benefit analysis. The main aim of the study, whose summarised results are presented, was to assess the impact of associated membership in the EU (that is a related status involving progressive bilateral trade liberalisation) on the Croatian economy as a whole and, as far as, on its individual sectors. The analysis was focused in three key areas in which the changes brought about by EU integration will be most keenly felt - trade, the monetary and the fiscal sectors.
