Sažetak
In his daily work, a designer spends a lot of time on the CAD model preparation (property management) and on the creation of a bill of materials in a technical drawing. Due to the fact that CATIA lends a limited support for these activities, there is a need for a tool to better support both processes. The APM (Application for Property Management) introduces an innovative approach based on the XML description of a model property and the drawing information. They are used for the creation and manipulation of CATIA® Product and Part model properties and automatic creation of bill of. In addition, APM connects a model and its drawing in such a way that data synchronization is available in both directions.
