Sažetak
In order to provide cost-effective track in the future it is essential to be able to improve the methods by which the performance of the track is monitored and to have reliable methods for prediction and planning. Since track maintenance management (TMM) depends on many aspects of track performance, the information that needs to be gathered and analysed becomes a daunting task. In order to acomplish this it is essential to build a qualitative integral information system as a base of TMM. This system should ensure constant providing of information for all levels of management and decision-making.
