Sažetak
It is necessary to realize an empirical research with the presumption that Croatia has all conditions for successful integrtion of the management in research of very modern technologies and rational methods which are developed in teh Europen Union. This research should gbe conducted in oreder to determine the real application level of decision models and information technology support to this models in Croatia. The reason for the main presumption of introduction and development of decision models is the rational decision type. As contribution to the wider empirical research of different industries, in order to conclude possible integrtion of Croatian tourism in scientifical and techological development of Europe, the exsist characteristics of scentific decisions and introduction of information technology in hotel manaement are included, with comparison of gathered reults with results of other researches. The detaild condition analysis in the area of information technology introduction and application of decision models, a certain frame for development of applicable measures for decision improvement in Croatian tourism is established, with the final goal to participate in scientifical and techological development of Europe. The optimal approach to design of decisionsystems directed towards application of decision models has the starting point in the declarative acfceptance, and in reality, inapplicaton of decision models has the starting point in the declarative acceptance, and in reality, inapplication of decision models and satisfactory usage level and development of information technology.
