Sažetak
The article examines what has been done in twelve years of the country’ s independence in order to uphold minority rights. The article focuses on the political participation and representation of minorities, evaluating the relevant legislative provisions that provide for the minority protection and accommodation in the country. Briefly examining the economic, social and cultural rights minorities are entitled to, emphasizing the importance of legislative and administrative changes aiming to facilitate the return of Serb refugees and the accomplishment of their right to housing and employment.
