Sažetak
This article explores the requirements on minority protection set in the European Union’ s Copenhagen criteria in four current candidate countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Turkey. Exploring the actual state of affairs and envisaging improvements that might occur as the result of fulfilling EU conditions, the paper depicts the actions in the field of minority protection four countries are required to undertake in order to join the EU.
