Sažetak
New materials and geometry of cutting tools, as well as the new concepts of machine tools, change machinability indicators or machinability functions, which implies their continued research. One of the machinability functions are cutting forces, and their experimental study and modeling, and also optimizing of cutting parameters, will lead to increase productivity and quality, reduce production costs and increase competitiveness of company. Obtained knowledge and validity would enable the wider application of high speed turning, dry turning and turning of hard materials. To enable the measurement of turning forces with three-component measuring device « ; ; ; ; ; Kistler» ; ; ; ; ; on the turning machining center TOS SBL 500, which is installed in the Laboratory for machine tools, the work is a presentation of construction of auxiliary device for it attach on the turret head. The paper also gives testing results of auxiliary device in the turning process of hardened material.
