Sažetak
Smith's diagram as an universal tool for fatigue strength calculations is presented in this paper. For a general case of stressing, when steady pre-loaded part in critical cross-section is subjected to the acting of arbitrary stress spectrum, the unique and explicit relations are derived, which enable estimation of its fatigue limit and fatigue life, by means of results of constant amplitude test only.
