Sažetak
For the administrarions of lactic acid bactria as probiotic in human and animals, they should be resistant to the specific conditions to gastrointestinal tract. Introducing new organisms into highly competitiveenviroment is difficult. Thus, organisms that can produce an antimicrobial substances that will inhibit the growth undesirable microorganisms in the intestinal milieu have a distinct adventage. The bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus M92 and Lactobacillus plantarum L4 were exsamined for probiotic activites. Both culture supernants were shown antimacrobial activity agains enterophatogenic, spore-forming and fungal test microorganisms. Antimacrobial activity of culture supernatants was higher than the antimacrobial activity of the corresponding concentrations of lactic acid itself. In the conditions of low pH value of medium, effect lysosyme, presence of different concentrations of substances as phenol and bile salts, bacteria L. acidophilus M92 and L. plantarum L4 were shown satisfactory degree of survival. In the presence of oxgall as source of bile salts, both bacteria decrease concentration of cholesterol in medium.
