Sažetak
The asymmetric unit contains two independent molecules. The title compound is the first example of a derivative of the bicyclol tautomer in the allantoin series and the key intermediate in the asymmetric synthesis of the X-ray structure determination confirm its diastereomeric identity and establish the absolute (1R, 5R) configuration.
