Sažetak
Automated people are the starting point and the beginning of the business process reengineering (BPR). The radical redesign of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in cost, quality, service, and speed could not occur without them. They are the ones that analyze and, based on the results of that analysis, redesign businesses and business processes in order to eliminate everything that does not add value to the organizations. That is why organizations should attract people that are capable of managing BPR. As well, they should train people for it, involve them in preparation and implementation of BPR, and appropriately stimulate, encourage and reward them for their contribution. This manuscript defines precisely which characteristics differentiate BPR people from people before BPR. Exceptional BPR demands for people that are professionals that possess multiple, both technical and interpersonal skills, that are team-oriented, creative and innovative, and that joyfully embrace changes.
