Sažetak
Mathematical model for ship hydroelastic analysis, comprised of structural, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic models, is described. The modal superposition method is used and ship natural modes are determined for the sophisticated beam model based on the advanced thin-walled girder theory. The consistent restoring stiffness is formulated. Application of the numerical procedure is illustrated in the case of a large container ship.
