Sažetak
The curriculum for education in mechanical engineering should be more adequate for the challenges that the future graduate student will confront in his professional work. The student's motivation to learn should be strengthened. Encyclopaedic courses should give an overall view on mechanical engineering problems. Learning of generally applicable principles instead of many less important details should be practised. Fundamental knowledge in Economics, Finance, Management, Sociology and similar is very desirable.
