Sažetak
The paper presents methods of pneumatic control applied to enable positioning of a piston of a rodless cylinder in any position along the stroke of the piston. The consideration of these methods regarding preciseness, dynamic characteristics and affordability are given, as well. Particular attention in the paper is paid to servopneumatic methods, i.e. the one that uses proportional directional valves and the one with proportional pressure regulator valves. These two servopneumatic methods in positioning have been tested in our Laboratory for automatic Control and Robotics. The paper gives description of the equipment and comments regarding main characteristics
