Sažetak
This paper presents parameters estimation of appropriate models by using time series data analysis of public sector economy. Finance sources and investments in Lovreć District are taken as an example. In order to achieve better explanation, the outliers are smoothed by moving average method. The evaluated models with all diagnostics are demonstrated. Characteristics of smoothed curves can also be seen on the charts. According to that, usage of Excel and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences - SPSS is presented in models analysis of economic variables in a clear and understandable way. Such scientific and specialized analysis can be found in the numerous works of students on the faculties of economics as part of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
