Sažetak
This paper proposes a method for reconstruction signal samples corrupted with impulse noise in multicarrier system. Multicarrier systems performance in impulse noise environment can be improved by applying blanking nonlinearity. In the receiver before demodulation, signal samples that are detected as impulse noise are set to zero. Blanking nonlinearity is wide used method for mitigation impulse noise effects on signal. In this work, we propose improvement of the blanking nonlinearity method with only slightly increasing in complexity. Based on decoded symbols, minimum mean aquare error (MMSE) estimation is performed for the samples that are detected as corrupted with impulse noise, and theoretical analysis for the MMSE estimation is presented. Performances of the proposed method are evaluated throw simulation.
