Sažetak
The paper deals with the use of conjunctions in learner talk in the EFL classroom. The aim of the paper is to investigate the frequency of conjunctive meanings and the factors that might influence the use of conjunctions in learner talk. The results of the analyses indicate that the type of communicative activity and the type of interaction might influence the distribution of conjunctions in learner verbal production. The analyses were made on transcribed recordings of EFL classroom talk in Croatian schools.
