Sažetak
In transcranial electrical stimulation, electrodes with small area are used in order to selectively stimulate the motor cortex. We investigated the influence of pulse current stimuli parameters on the characteristics of the bio-impedance measured with cup EEG and corkscrew electrodes at high current densities. The impedance measured with corkscrew electrodes decreased slightly with pulse current intensity remaining stable with changes of other parameters. The impedance measured with cup electrodes was much more dependent on stimulation parameters and generally showed an increase whenever the charge density was increased.
