Sažetak
We report the case of a 55-year-old man who presented with left sided headache, neck pain and arterial hypotension with no abnormalities on neurological examination. He had a past medical hystory of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and arterial hypertension. The initial color doppler examination showed dissection of left ACC spreading to left ACI. MSCT angiography confirmed the diagnosis. Anticoagulant treatment was started and later continued with antiplatelet therapy. Imaging findings and the presentations and mechanisms of carotid artery dissection are discussed.
