Sažetak
A complete change in all levels of education system is required so as to make up a society with new qualifications and abilities for innovations in accordance with the concept of sustainable development. Special attention should be brought up to the change in the Higher Educational System, as s focal sector of the complete evolution of a more sustainable future. This change can be achieved through the change in the curriculum design which requires integration of sustainable development in all educational programs and all relevant courses, as well as to make possible for students to take additional courses on sustainable tourism. The full paper describes one proposed program of education for sustainable development on Jurja Dobrila University of Pula, with special emphasis on Department of Economics and Tourism.
