Sažetak
The route to supply-chain excellence often begins with a well-vetted warehouse management system. The system for managing the store, or WMS, is a key part of supply chain and primarily aims to control the movement and storage of materials in the warehouse and process the associated transactions, including shipping, receiving, placing the right place and selection. Systems are also determined and optimize place stocks on the basis of real-time information on the status of bin use. Controlled warehouse systems are often used Auto-ID data recording technologies such as bar code scanners, portable computers, wireless LANs and potentially RFID to efficiently monitor throughput of products. The problems that users encounter, problems that quality WMS system addresses, as well as solutions for more efficient storage optimization process will be also presented in this article.
