Sažetak
To transfer audio data via computer networks, it is necessary to make data reduction because of their limited transfer speeds. Nowadays, the fast development of the Internet puts demands on the efficiency of audio coders. A number of objective and subjective experiments have to be done in order to compare different audio coders. This paper compares three different audio coding systems: MPEG-2 Layer III, MPEG-4 AAC and Real Audio G2 by analyzing their THD, S/N ratio, cut-off frequency and impulse response.
