Sažetak
Nonlinear distortion is very important limiting factor in CATV systems. The article deals with the effects of nonlinearities of wideband amplifiers, which cause intermodulation and crossmodulation distortion of the signal. The computer program was developed for the simulation of amplifier behavior with several input signals. The output spectrum of different types of amplifiers was measured, and the complex constants characterizing the gain and distortion of amplifiers were calculated. These parameters were used in the computer simulation, and the results were compared.
