Sažetak
Environmental protection awareness is a result of the practical activities of pupils, their active participation and acquisition of the modes of behaviour and the positive attitude towards the environment. Environmental protection education should be done through specially designed workshops. By learning at the workshop pupils would develop the critical attitude, evaluation skills, objectivity and creativity. The workshops are valuable for environment protection education, for they help to build personality based on producing knowledge of permanent value, and not the one that is needed temporarily to meet the school criteria. The professional qualifications of teachers are of great importance for such work. Therefore it is necessary to teach them the methods of learning from experience that they will use when teaching their pupils.
