Sažetak
Technological documentation making and production monitoring in garment industry, which is the first export branch of industry in Republic of Croatia, has been described. Small working orders, including a number of colours, patterns, models and sizes characterise contemporary garment production, which significantly complicates the creation of technical documentation and monitoring of small-size production batches. These functions cannot be performed without computer support. Original software packages, developed at the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, have been described. The packages have been installed in many medium and large garment production facilities in Croatia. A survey of requirements, software-wise has been given, especially concerning the graphic environment of Windows 98 which enables the applications to be linked in a network. Computer properties have been given, based on personal computers with at least Pentium processor, and a chosen configuration of collecting peer-to-peer network with Ethernet protocols. Minimal structure of data bases that should be available to all the users in the network has been given, together with the most important packages and modules for the construction of technological operation plans, process plans, precalculations and cost calculations, production monitoring and monitoring and calculation of operatives’ efficiency and wages.
