Sažetak
Aim was to determine the equation for accurate prediction of widths of crowns of unerupted canines (C) and premolars (P1 and P2) based upon the measured mesio-distal (MDD) and vestibulo-oral (VOD) diameter of crowns of erupted central (I1), lateral (I2) incisors and first permanent molars (M1).Methods: plaster casts from 180 subjects (90 boys and 90 girls) were examined. MDD and VOD of crowns of I1, I2, C, P1, P2 and M1 were measured twice on both sides in both jaws. Results: regression equations for prediction of MDD of C, P1 and P2 crowns by using two ponders were defined. Conclusion: prediction accuracy for MDD of crowns of C, P1 and P2 in both sexes and both jyws varied from 97, 04 to 97, 99%.
