Sažetak
Methylmalonic aciduria (MMA) was first described about forty years ago. Since then, it has been frequently classified as a Bclassical organic aciduria. This term, to a less informed reader, could suggest that the condition is well-known, with little new information about it. On the contrary, the term MMA actually denotes a group of disorders, about which knowledge is constantly accumulating. New information and the necessity to distribute it to the readers of the Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disease has been recognized by the editorial team, resulting in a series of articles on MMA. The first part has been published in Volume 31 No.1 and reflected primarily new pathogenetic aspects of the MMAs. In this issue, the focus is more on diagnostic aspects (articles by Fowler et al, Lindner et al, Zwickler et al).
