Sažetak
In this work growth & remodelling of the 3D arterial wall is described. From in vivo data for an artery, residual stresses in a traction-free excised con guration as well as an opening angle in a radially-cut, nearly stressfree con guration are determined. Furthermore, the stress-free con guration is used as reference for describing arterial G&R via the di erent rates of turnover of individual structurally signi cant constituents, elastin, collagen (4- bre family), smooth muscle cells, which can posses di erent natural con gurations
