Sažetak
Gallery portrait art photographs because of its syntactic and semantic characteristics are often achieved in B&W technique. This paper deals with the investigation of the light type and ISO speed influence on the characteristics of the digitally shot B&W portrait photographs. On the basis of digital shooting of Munsell Color X-rite ColorChecker and face portraits in B&W mode with different ISO speeds (100/21, 400/27, 3200/36) and different light types (flashlight, halogen, nitraphot, tungsten), reproduction curves and optical coverage for skin colours were defined and visual estimations of the portraits were done. Among tested lightings, the worst results gives flashlight while other give better results and better possibilities in lights and shadows modulation. The evaluations of used ISO speeds show that digital photographic system enables using of the slightly higher ISO speeds what enables working with the lighting of lower power but can be certain lack in photography syntaxes, as well.
