Sažetak
Complexation of alkali metal cations with 5, 11, 17, 23-tetra(tert-butil)-25, 26, 27, 28-tetra(N-hexylcarbamoylmethoxy) calix[4]arene (L) in acetonitrile was studied by means of spectrophotometric, conductometric, potentiometric and microcalorimetric titrations. The stability constants of the NaL+ and KL+ complexes were determined. The values obtained by different methods were in very good agreement. Calorimetric titrations provided information about the enthalpies and entropies of complexation reactions. The investigated reactions were enthalpy driven.
