Sažetak
Emergencies in primary care setting range from the immediately life-threatening to minor but urgent health problems. The aim of this cross-sectional survey was to evaluate self-confidence among primary care physicians and to compare the viewpoints of general practitioners and family medicine specialists. Our hypothesis was that family medicine specialists are more educated in emergency medicine and have more self-confidence problem solving. The sample were 40 primary care physicians randomly selected in 4 health centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A structured questionnaire was used (demographics, general self-confidence in solving emergencies and satisfaction with under/postgraduate education in emergency medicine. Results: in procedure.
